Everyone has a personal responsibility on our sites and our customers’ sites, for their own health and safety and that of others. To this end, we developed a mobile safety application that allows users to easily report any on-site hazard. Users can report PSIs (potentially significant incidents), send descriptive pictures and notify local safety teams. Workers can access important data anywhere, anytime.
The app also enables front line colleagues to share safety information across the organization and helps engage in safety dialogues.
The Mobile Safety app project was awarded a Lhoist Sustainability Award in 2021.
We believe that no job is so important that it cannot be done safely, with all hazards identified and all risks mitigated. All injuries, safety accidents and occupational illnesses are preventable. We aim to foster a culture of safety excellence.
